Even though I have never visited Zebulon, this comp does an excellent job of communicating the venue's ethos. Across 15 varied tracks, I can see Zebulon is a space that encourages experimentation, raw emotions, failure, triumph, open-mindedness... the list goes on. I'm glad to know a place like this still exists. Hopefully one day I'll get to see it with my own eyes.
This compilation is the result of several years of programming.
Imagined by Zebulon and curated by the artists who answered our call for support during this extended shutdown period ... All of the tracks featured on this album were recorded live at Zebulon LA, with the exception of the title track by Jonas Mekas, recorded at Zebulon Brooklyn …Jonas is posthumously with us in spirit.
We want to thank all of the artists, sound engineers, and everyone who took part in this project.
Overcome with joy with the result of this endeavor, we hope to be able to return very quickly to the stage with all the ingredients for a live concert in front of an audience ... we miss you ... Thank you
